Relaxation Massage
A Swedish massage helps to relieve worry, anxiety and stress. It also lowers your blood pressure and reduces tension for a relaxed, rejuvenated feeling.
Deep Tissue Massage
This deeper pressure is beneficial for releasing acute or chronic muscle tension and pain. It focuses on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, ligaments and fascia (the protective layer surrounding the muscles, bones and joints). Deep breathing techniques will be needed for this modality, to help you release pain.
Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage
Lomilomi is a unique massage modality developed by the ancient Polynesians. Using the therapist's palms, fingers, knuckles, elbows, forearms and sometimes feet, knees and even a stick, it focuses on restoring physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing and harmony of the human body.
Trigger Point Therapy
With this style of massage, you identify the exact location and intensity of your discomfort then through cycles of isolated pressure, the therapist works to release tension and reset the muscle fibers while coaching you through deep breathing to alleviate the source of pain.
Thai Yoga Massage
This style is excellent for people who want to increase their flexibility, mobility and range of motion. It relies mostly on compression and stretching. Please wear loose clothing.
Myofascial Therapy
Myofascial Therapy works to reduce pain, release tension and even release emotions that can be stored in the fascia and caused by trauma, injury, poor posture or inflammation. The therapist focuses on loosening the “fascia” -- the connective tissues surrounding the muscles, bones, nerves and organs of the body, making you feel lighter and more balanced. It's as if a weight has been lifted.
Add Hot Pack Therapy to Your Treatment
Hot pack therapy uses heated pads (up to 160 degrees) layered with four to five towels, leaving enough heat to relieve muscle pain and tension, increase circulation, and release toxins and lactic acid through perspiration. It's like a body sauna for your back side. Your muscles relax and become more supple. Add this treatment to any modality for $10 more.
